Samuel Allen is a Milwaukee-based digital photographer and visual storyteller whose work captures the intricate beauty of the Black experience. WIth a Afro-Futurist aesthetic, Sam captures a vibrant interplay of color, form, movement, and emotion. He creates images that not only reflect life but invite viewers into it — stirring curiosity, connection, and a sense of wonder.
What distinguishes Samuel’s practice is his gift for capturing subjects in a way that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant. Each photograph becomes a world of its own — authentic, alive, and charged with intention.
Samuel is a self-taught artist whose creative vision, discipline, and innovative eye have shaped a thriving artistic practice. He has been featured on major platforms such as Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW), earned his first artist grant and fellowship through Gener8tor Art, and currently serves as the inaugural Artist in Residence at THE CR8TV HOUSE.

Founder Symphony Swan-Zawadi experienced profound loss with the passing of both her parents, whom she cared for in their final days. Revisiting her childhood home after her father's death, she realized his significant influence on her artistic journey, despite their strained relationship. Motivated by dream messages from her father, Symphony transformed his house into THE CR8TV HOUSE, a beacon of inspiration and support for young creatives in the overlooked Old North Milwaukee neighborhood.
