The Gallery Space.
We don't believe in scarcity. We believe that there should be many access points for artists to exhibit, converse about and make art that community can get behind. THE CR8TV HOUSE Gallery is designed to serve as a teaching community gallery.
Art as a Catalyst: We carry the assumption that art has the power to ignite conversations, challenge perceptions, and inspire change. By providing a platform for Black and Brown artists, the gallery assumes that their unique perspectives will contribute to innovative solutions for complex problems.
Community Engagement: We know that fostering a sense of belonging and community within and beyond the gallery will create a supportive network for artists. This, in turn, is expected to amplify the impact of their work, via their growth and development and with the community actively participating in discussions and solutions with their work at the center.
Access and Representation: THE CR8TV HOUSE aims to challenge existing power structures and provide equitable opportunities and space for belonging, believing that this will lead to increased confidence and a more expansive contribution to Black and Brown pursuing their art practice for societal problem-solving.
