About the event
How can film be used as a medium to explore and reshape our understanding of family, identity, and home? Home Improvement is a short film that blends art therapy with experimental filmmaking, offering a deeply personal approach to improving familial conditions. In this workshop, participants will engage in a case study of the film, exploring the creative strategies and methodologies that drive this work.
This session will unpack how storytelling, visual experimentation, and personal reflection can serve as tools for healing and transformation. Participants will also be invited to consider their own family narratives through guided discussion and reflection.
This workshop is ideal for artists, filmmakers, and anyone interested in the intersection of film, therapy, and personal storytelling.
